I am a native of Southern California. I received my BFA from California State University Fullerton. I enjoy working in several mediums while creating both illustrative and non objective abstract pieces. My representational work often contains narrative message whereas my abstract work is a direct response to my love of patterns and shapes found in nature and under a microscope. I have exhibited my work in individual and group exhibitions in both theUS and abroad.
For over three decades I have been employed as a visual artist within the entertainment industry as special effects model painter, faux finish painter, set designer and creative director. I've had the pleasure of working for a number of production companies including Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Pictures, HBO, and The Los Angeles County Fairplex painting models, sets and murals. My work has been featured in both film and television, private collections and part of California State University Fullerton's permanent art collection. When not in the studio, I enjoy the guilty pleasure of producing chalk art, street painting for festivals throughout the US. |
